Susan Myers, MD

Dr. Myers is a board certified psychiatrist specializing in pharmacological management of psychiatric disorders in adults (ages 18—100+). She graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed her residency at MetroHealth Medical Center (a Case Western Reserve University affiliated hospital). She moved to Pinehurst, NC in 1995 to escape the cold, practicing in Fayetteville until 2016, when she moved her practice to Aberdeen in order to be nearby for her father when he migrated here as well.
In October, 2019, Dr. Myers contracted with Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth to provide TMS (Transmagnetic Stimulation) as an additional treatment option for depression.
When not working, Dr. Myers enjoys photography and hiking with her husband and their assortment of rescue dogs.

Karen T. Irizarry, MSW, LCSW, LCAS

Mood and anxiety disorders, Post Traumatic Stress, stressors related to chronic medical conditions, unresolved grief, substance abuse, and other life stressors.

Felicity Sanders, PhD

Dr. Sanders completed her undergraduate work at the University of Akron in Ohio and her doctoral degree at Virginia Tech. She served as an active duty Army psychologist and completed her clinical psychology residency program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center before serving at Ft. Bragg. She has been working in private practice since 2006.
Dr. Sanders enjoys working with a variety of people, including military members and their families. She is experienced in treating adults and children. She has worked with clients experiencing a variety of issues, including: PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and medical issues, OCD, ADHD, parenting issues, and marital/relationship issues. She has also been a Parenting Coordinator and worked with families who are involved with the court system.
Dr. Sanders is a member of the North Carolina Psychological Association and the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts.

Ms. Drexine Sowers

Ms. Sowers (also known as “Drex”) started working in the medical field in 1989. Originally from Maine, she moved to North Carolina in 1997 with her husband as he entered a new phase in his career. She joined Carolina Psychological Associates (Dr. Myers’ then Fayetteville practice) in 2000. She quickly was promoted to Office Manager and has continued in that capacity since then, following Dr. Myers to Aberdeen in 2016.
With her many years of extensive experience, Drex is adept at running the office as well as at dealing with insurance companies.
Outside of the office, Drex enjoys sewing and spending time with her grandchildren.
